Under the guidance of college Principal Dr. Savinder  Pal, NSS unit of Kamla Nehru College for Women,Phagwara celebrated ‘Van Mahotsav Day’ on July 7,2022 to sensitise the students about the importance of tress for the conservation of Earth.On this occasion, Principal Dr. Savinder Pal , programme officer Ms. Nidhi Jassal along with students planted sapling in the college premises.Students showed their marvellous involvement and felt proud to contribute their task in preserving Earth .Poster Making and Slogan Writing competitions were organised. Dr Savinder Pal, the college Principal, exhorted the students to save trees, protect them and plant umpteen plants. She averred that taking active step to preserve nature is the only way to save our mother Earth. She also lauded the efforts of programme officer Ms. Nidhi Jassal for celebrating this day.
