Under the aegis of IQAC and the Department of Fashion Designing, a workshop on Hand Embroidery was organized on 5th March 2025. About 60 students from the department participated enthusiastically. Sekh Nasir was invited to demonstrate a variety of hand embroidery techniques, including Chain Stitch, French Knot, Bullion Knot, and Sequin work with Aari embroidery.

The workshop also saw active participation from ten faculty members from different departments. Both students and teachers engaged in hands-on practice, refining their embroidery skills and exploring creative techniques. The event was a great success, contributing to the skill  of all attendees.

Principal Dr. Savinder Pal applauded the efforts of the organizing team and congratulated the Department of Fashion Designing for hosting such a valuable learning experience. She encouraged them to continue organizing similar workshops in the future to further enrich students’ practical knowledge and craftsmanship.
