Outreach Program on Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament 2025

NSS Unit of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara, successfully organized an outreach program on Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament 2025 under the able guidance of College Principal Dr. Savinder Pal. The event aimed to raise awareness about the registration process and the significance of the Youth Parliament initiative.

Mr. Ankush Nijhawan from the Regional Directorate of NSS, Chandigarh, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, graced the occasion as the resource person. The program commenced with a floral welcome extended to Mr. Ankush Nijhawan by College Principal Dr. Savinder Pal, Vice Principal Dr. Ruminder Kaur, NSS Programme Officers Ms. Nidhi Jassal and Dr. Lalit Kumar, along with Mr. Kuldeep Singh.

During the session, NSS Programme Officer Ms. Nidhi Jassal and the resource person Mr. Ankush Nijhawan guided the volunteers on the detailed process of registration for the Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament 2025. They also elaborated on the steps for district-level participation and highlighted the importance of this event in empowering youth and promoting active civic engagement.

Approximately 185 NSS volunteers actively participated in the outreach program, demonstrating great enthusiasm and interest in the initiative. The interactive session allowed students to clarify their queries and understand the significance of their involvement in shaping India’s future.

In her address, College Principal Dr. Savinder Pal encouraged the volunteers to enthusiastically participate and register for the Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament 2025, emphasizing its role in nurturing leadership skills and strengthening democracy.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by NSS Programme Officer Ms. Nidhi Jassal, expressing gratitude to the resource person and all participants for making the event successful. Principal Dr. Savinder Pal appreciated the commendable efforts of NSS Programme Officers Ms. Nidhi Jassal and Dr. Lalit Kumar for organizing this insightful outreach program.
