The Post Graduate Department of Computer Science at Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara, organized two creative events in September 2024 under the leadership of the Association of Computer Professionals(ACP).

“Best Out of Waste” competition was held, promoting environmental awareness and creativity. Ten teams participated, turning waste materials into innovative creations. The team of Harleen and Simran secured first place, followed by Mehak and Karuna in second, while Akansha, Shania, Diksha, and Nipu shared third place.

Later, on department hosted a Poster Making Competition focusing on contemporary topics like AI, Cybersecurity, and the Dark Web. Twenty students participated, with Harleen Kaur and Mehak winning first place, Harleen Kaur Basra finishing second, and Akanksha and Navpreet sharing third. Both events were highly appreciated by Principal Dr. Savinder Pal, who commended the students for their creativity and encouraged further participation in such enriching activities.
