For celebrating 75th Anniversary of Freedom Struggle, an online Webinar on the topic “Indian Freedom Struggle: An overview” was organised by Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara  on 10th August, 2021. Dr. Sukhdev Singh Sohal Prof and Head (Retd.), History Department, GNDU, Amritsar was the Resource person. Madam Kamlesh Head of History department introduced  him to the participants and threw light on his academic achievements.  Principal Dr. Savinder Pal  gave the Resource Person a warm welcome.  He discussed about Pre Independence conditions, Role of Swadeshi goods, Condition of Farmers during British rule.  Students of +1and +2 and teaching faculty of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara, and Professors and Principals from other colleges attended this online webinar. Dr. Savinder Pal Principal of the college proposed a vote of thanks. She also congratulated the organizers for the successful conduction of the webinar and motivated them to organize such webinar in future also.
